When renting a charter bus for your 21st birthday to a bachelor party, there’s one question that everyone has in mind: are you allowed to drink on a minibus or charter bus?
If you are in the US, then you are allowed to have alcohol on buses. There is no federal law that prohibits passengers from drinking on minibuses, charter buses, or any other transportation that moves people for compensation. While they may be some local laws that can prohibit you from legally drinking on any bus, make sure you call and ask an agent about any local drinking laws for each stop that is on your schedule.
If you book with TTS Charter buses, we ask that you tell us when you are booking your bus that you will be having alcohol on our buses. On the day of your service/services, you are required to leave $250 deposit with the driver in order to drink on the bus. However, at the end of the service if you and your party leave the buses clean then you will receive the $250 back.
